# Use Messenger personas

> Create alternate Messenger sender names and profile images for seasonal or branded conversations.

Personas let you change the name and image shown as the Messenger sender. Useful for campaigns, seasonal greetings, or specialist identities.

## Create a persona

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Personas">
    Go to **Tools → Personas → Add Persona**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set name and image">
    Enter a display name and image URL.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply the persona">
    Go to **Settings → General → Bot Profile** (or the equivalent profile setting) and select the persona.
  </Step>

You can create multiple personas and switch them when a campaign needs a different identity.
