# Set the Messenger welcome message

> Choose the flow Fliqr AI sends when someone taps Get Started on your Facebook Page.

The welcome message is the first automated message after someone starts a Messenger conversation (for example, by tapping **Get Started**). Only Messenger uses this welcome-message setting.

## Set the welcome message

    Build and publish the flow you want people to receive first.

  <Step title="Open Messenger settings">
    Go to **Settings → Channels → Messenger → Welcome Message**.

  <Step title="Select the flow">
    Choose your published welcome flow and save.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Pair the welcome flow with [conversation starters](/docs/channels/messenger/conversation-starters) so users who skip Get Started still see useful prompts.
