# Manage pipeline stages and cards

> Create pipeline stages, add opportunity cards, drag contacts between stages, and set priorities in Fliqr AI.

Stages are columns. Cards are the contacts/opportunities inside them.

## Create and edit stages

1. Open your pipeline.
2. Add or rename stages to match your real process.
3. Reorder columns so the board reads left-to-right through the journey.

Keep stage names short and unambiguous (`Qualified`, not `Maybe later?`).

## Add a card

    Choose the stage where the card should start.

    Search by name, phone, or email and attach the contact record.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set details">
    Add value, priority (Low / Medium / High / Urgent), and assignee when available.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    The card appears on the board with access to the contact’s conversation history.
  </Step>

## Move cards

Drag a card to another stage, or open the card and change its stage. For automatic moves, see [Pipeline automation](/docs/core-concepts/pipelines/automation).

## Tips

* Use priority labels so Urgent work surfaces first.
* Don’t park stale cards in early stages — archive/close lost deals.
* Align stage names with [Automation Rules](/docs/core-concepts/automation-rules) and Flow conditions.
