# Delete a contact

> Permanently delete contacts from the Fliqr AI Inbox, Contacts list, or a Flow action.

Delete removes a contact record. Use it for duplicates, test users, or data-deletion requests — not for routine queue cleanup (prefer [archive](/docs/inbox/archive) or [block](/docs/inbox/block-contact)).

## From the Inbox

1. Select the contact.
2. Open the **menu**.
3. Choose **Delete**.

## From Contacts

1. Select one or more contacts with the checkbox.
2. Open the menu / actions.
3. Choose **Delete**.

## From a Flow

Add **Action → Delete contact** only on explicit, reviewed paths (for example confirmed data-deletion requests).

  Deletion is permanent. Confirm legal/retention requirements before automating deletes.
