Request a contact's location

Use a location request when you need delivery address context, nearby-store logic, or field-service routing.

Supported channels

Open your flow

In Flow Builder, add a block that requests the user’s location / get user data.

Ask the contact to share

Send the location request. The contact confirms sharing from their chat app.

Store the result

Save the returned geo data in the custom field configured on the block.

After a contact shares location, you can use:

Field	Meaning
Custom field on the block	Full location payload from the request
`{{last_latitude}}`	Latitude from the latest shared location
`{{last_longitude}}`	Longitude from the latest shared location

You can compose a maps link with the last coordinates, for example:

https://www.google.com/maps?q={{last_latitude}},{{last_longitude}}
