Zapier and Make.com are workflow automation platforms that sit between Fliqr AI and other software you use. Instead of writing custom code to sync data between systems, you build visual workflows — called Zaps (Zapier) or Scenarios (Make.com) — that trigger automatically when something happens in either system. This makes it practical to connect Fliqr AI to apps that don’t have a native integration without involving a developer.

Overview

Both platforms work by listening for a trigger event (something that happened) and then performing one or more actions (something to do in response). For example: a new contact is created in Fliqr AI → Zapier creates a row in Google Sheets and sends a Slack notification. Neither step requires code on your end. Use Zapier or Make.com when:
  • The tool you want to connect isn’t in Fliqr AI’s native integrations list.
  • You need to chain multiple apps together in a single automated workflow.
  • Your team is already using one of these platforms for other automations.
For high-frequency automations or cases where latency matters, webhooks directly to your own server will outperform both platforms.

  • A Fliqr AI account (Pro plan or higher)
  • A Zapier or Make.com account
  • Your Fliqr AI API key — find it at Settings → API → Copy Key

Setting Up Zapier

Create a Zapier account

Go to zapier.com and sign up or log in.

Create a new Zap

Click Create Zap from your Zapier dashboard.

Search for Fliqr AI

Connect your Fliqr AI account

When prompted, enter your Fliqr AI API key. Retrieve it from Settings → API → Copy Key in your Fliqr AI dashboard.

Select a trigger event

Choose the event that should start your Zap — for example, New Contact. Follow Zapier’s prompts to test the trigger and confirm it returns sample data.

Add an action step

Click the + button to add an action. Choose the app you want to send data to (e.g., Google Sheets) and map the fields from the Fliqr AI trigger to the destination app’s fields.

Turn on the Zap

Name your Zap and toggle it on. Zapier will now run the automation each time the trigger condition is met.

Example: New Fliqr AI Contact → Row in Google Sheets

  1. Trigger: Fliqr AI — New Contact
  2. Action: Google Sheets — Create Spreadsheet Row
  3. Field mapping: Contact name → Column A, Email → Column B, Phone → Column C, Created At → Column D
This keeps an external spreadsheet in sync with your Fliqr AI contact list without any manual exports.
For high-volume automations (more than 1,000 events per day), use webhooks directly instead of Zapier to avoid hitting Zapier’s task limits and to reduce latency.

Make.com: Setting Up a Scenario

Make.com (formerly Integromat) gives you more control over data transformation and conditional logic than Zapier, at the cost of a steeper learning curve.

Create a Make.com account

Go to make.com and sign up or log in.

Create a new Scenario

Click Create a new scenario from your Make.com dashboard.

Add an HTTP module

Click the + button to add the first module. Search for HTTP and select Make a request or Watch incoming data depending on whether you’re calling the Fliqr AI API (outbound) or receiving Fliqr AI webhook events (inbound).

Configure authentication

In the HTTP module’s request headers, add:
Replace YOUR_FLIQR_AI_API_KEY with the key from Settings → API.

Set the endpoint URL and method

Enter the Fliqr AI REST API endpoint for the action you want (e.g., POST https://api.fliqr.ai/v1/contacts/{id}/tags to add a tag). Refer to the API reference for available endpoints.

Map fields from your trigger

Use Make.com’s visual mapper to pull values from the preceding module (your trigger source) into the API request body.

Schedule or activate the scenario

Set the scenario to run on a schedule or in real-time (for webhook-triggered scenarios), then click Run once to test before activating.
If a dedicated Fliqr AI module becomes available in the Make.com app marketplace, it will replace the HTTP module steps above and provide a guided field mapper. Check the Make.com app directory for the latest status.
