Telegram bots give you flexible messaging with inline keyboards and no Meta-style 24-hour window for bot chats. Connect your bot token to Fliqr AI and automate DMs from the same Flow Builder as your other channels.

Prerequisites

  • A Telegram account
  • A bot created with @BotFather
  • The bot API token from BotFather

Connect Telegram

Create the bot

In Telegram, open @BotFather, send /newbot, and copy the API token.

Open Fliqr AI channel settings

Go to Settings → Channels → Telegram (or Integrations → Telegram, depending on your workspace layout).

Paste the bot token

Save the token. Fliqr AI registers the webhook automatically.

Test

Message your bot with /start and confirm the conversation appears in Fliqr AI.

Build flows

Use Telegram or Omnichannel message types. Prefer Omnichannel when the same content can serve multiple channels. To test without preview merge limitations, create an automated response / keyword such as test that triggers your Telegram flow.

Limits

Users must message your bot first (or open a deep link) before you can chat with them. A bot token can have only one active webhook at a time.
