When someone replies to your Instagram Story, that reply arrives as a DM. Use Instagram Story Automation in Fliqr AI to answer automatically with plain text or a published flow.

Before you start

  • Instagram is connected under Settings → Channels → Instagram
  • If you want to reply with a flow, create and publish that flow first

Create a Story reply automation

Open Story Automation

Go to Tools → Instagram Story Automation.

Add a new automation

Click Add New and give the automation a clear name (for example, Launch story replies).

Choose which Stories to track

Track replies on all Stories or a specific Story.

Choose the reply type

Select Reply with text for a fixed message, or Reply with a flow to start a published flow.

Save and enable

Click Save, then turn the automation ON.
Use a short text reply when you only need acknowledgment. Use a flow when you want buttons, qualification questions, or handoff into an AI Agent.

  1. Publish an Instagram Story from the connected Professional account.
  2. Reply to that Story from a different Instagram account.
  3. Confirm Fliqr AI sends the configured text or flow in DM.
