The welcome message is the first automated message after someone starts a Messenger conversation (for example, by tapping Get Started). Only Messenger uses this welcome-message setting.

Create a welcome flow

Build and publish the flow you want people to receive first.

Open Messenger settings

Go to Settings → Channels → Messenger → Welcome Message.

Select the flow

Choose your published welcome flow and save.
Pair the welcome flow with conversation starters so users who skip Get Started still see useful prompts.
